11-1107 Crestwood Mrs. Boling's 4th grade class presented Mayor Craig Smith with a variety of pet supplies and treats to keep foster pets comfortable and happy while they await new homes. Mayor Smith accepted the donations on behalf of Paul Warner Rescue and shared tips with Mrs. Boling's and Mrs. Lawson's classes on responsible pet ownership. Special guests were two rescued pets, Roman Smith (Boxer) and McDuff (Terrier MIx). |
| Connie Rhoads shared Happy Tales of her many foster pets while McDuff basked in the affection of Crestwood fourth graders. Mrs. Rhoads, accepting donated supplies on behalf of the Edgar County Humane Association, reminded students that they could help control the problem of overpop- ulation by spaying and neutering their pets.
